Camp VBS is a summer camp for younger & older children that focuses on learning & growing deeper in the gospel while including the fun aspects of camp: music, crafts, science, recreation, a daily field trip, and so much more!
when, where, & what is the length of Camp VBS?
When? June 1-5, 2026
Where? First Baptist Church in Blountville
Time? Starts at 8:20am every morning and pick up is at either 4:30pm/5:00pm depending on the Field Trip schedule. Pick up for 2y/o through Kindergarten will be on playground side of the church. You will enter through the carport door. Pick up for 1st-5th grade will be in the gym. Children will only be released to individuals listed on your child’s registration form. Please have photo identification ready for pick up. No child will be released without photo identification.
Family Dinner: We are offering a FREE family dinner for everyone. During the family dinner, we will recap each day to see what your child learned that day. The meal is FREE and must be signed up for on the registration form. We simply want to help you out with your busy schedule. The meal will be 30 minutes after pick up on Monday-Thursday. There will not be a Family Dinner on Friday, June 5.
what is the cost to Attend?
The cost for 1st-5th grade is $90 per kid. This includes snacks, field trips, transportation, materials for craft and teaching time, and a camp t-shirt. The cost for 2y/o - Kindergarten is FREE. Camp shirts are optional for this group at a cost of $10. Registration is due by Monday, May 15. There will be a $10 late fee for all registrations turned in after May 19. Camp shirts may not be available if you sign up after this date.

2026 FIELD TRIP SCHEDULE
MONDAY, JUNE 1
Make sure to wear your swimsuit (one piece for girls) and bring a towel to camp on this day because swimming is on the agenda for campers at the “Mammoth Waves” wave pool in Saltville, VA. Bring on all the waves and don’t forget your sunscreen. Pick up time will be at 5:00pm at First Baptist Blountville. Family Dinner to follow.
TUESDAY, JUNE 2
We will travel to Steele Creek Park for a variety of activities. We will be playing on the playground, going to the nature center, hiking, biking, fishing, and doing one of the camp’s all time favorites: wading in the creek. Choose your options for this day on the registration form. Bring an old pair of shoes or water shoes to wade in. Pick up time will be at 5:00pm at First Baptist Blountville. Family Dinner to follow.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3
On Wednesday, your child will enjoy the area’s most high-flying fun place. After lunch, we will be heading to Just Jump Trampoline Park in Bristol. Please bring trampoline jumping socks if you have them. We will provide socks for those who do not. Pick up time will be at 4:30pm at First Baptist Blountville. PLEASE NOTE THIS EARLY PICK UP TIME. THURSDAY, JUNE 4
Thursday is going to be an exciting day for our campers! We are going to Bright’s Zoo in Limestone, TN. Campers will get to see all kinds of animals throughout the zoo including some exotic creatures like red kangaroos, spider monkeys, pandas, zebras, and so much more! Pick up will be at 5:00pm at First Baptist Blountville. Family Dinner to follow.
FRIDAY, JUNE 5
Friday afternoon at Camp Discovery equals fun in the water because it’s water day! We will be playing water games in Fellowship Park (across the street from First Baptist Church). Make sure to bring or wear a swimsuit (one piece for girls), cover-up, and towel. Pick up will be at 4:30pm at First Baptist Blountville’s Fellowship Park across from the main building. PLEASE NOTE THIS EARLY PICK UP TIME. NO Family Dinner.

How to register & pay for Camp VBS
**You must turn in both your payment & registration form(s) to be fully registered for Camp VBS **
- Download, print, & fill out the registration form(s). Return the registration form(s) and payment in-person to our church office. To pay online through Paypal, click on the button below that will be available soon. Our church office is open M-F from 8:30am-5pm. Lunch break at 12pm, we will return after 1:30pm.
- Registration is due by Monday , May 15. There will be a $10 late fee for all registrations turned in after May 15. Camp shirts may not be available if you sign up after this date**
